Description

Up-Cycled Fashion Embroidery Workshop
23th January, Saturday 19:00-20:30 (CMT+1, Berlin time, EST 13:00-14:30)

Another fun Up-cycled fashion embroidery workshop in Berlin for those who are looking to update their wardrobe and are interested in living creatively sustainably! Up-Cycling your old but loved clothes is a great way to extend their life cycle.

Whether you’re new to Embroidery or a seasoned pro this Up-cycled fashion embroidery workshop will be lots of fun! We will be stitching on an item of clothing you will bring with you, ideally on a shirt, skirt or light jeans. You will have options of different designs to stitch on as: flowers, evil eye and geometric shapes (i will send these via email and you can print them out before the workshop).

If you have been looking to learn how to make your own beautiful embroidered clothing then this workshop is a great start. This is not a full-on technical embroidery workshop. You will be shown a few different stitches you can use to successfully create beautiful designs. Any questions on embroidery will be answered and you can get advice on any embroidery design you want to try.

Upon booking of the workshop, i will send you a list with suggestions of where to buy the materials (Berlin or online). I will also provide with a digital pdf of different stitches we will be using. You will need to pick a non-stretch clothing piece, ideally of light/medium weight in cotton or linen.

What you will need to have with you:
Wooden Embroidery Hoop
Needle & Embroidery Floss in different colours for you to choose
Scissors and a favorite item of clothing (non stretch fabric)

I will provide a link to Google meet before the start of the workshop.

*This is an online workshop and no physical materials will be sent to you.
